Versioned claims
Definitions and scientific claims are identified, dated, and changed through explicit revisions rather than silent rewriting.
Scientific infrastructure · open development
The Programme turns a developing theoretical framework into a transparent scientific system: explicit definitions, atomic pathways, testable claims, reproducible operationalizations, and evidence that can be independently scrutinized, replicated, and cumulatively studied.
Purpose
The Programme’s task is not to preserve the Pathogenetic Triad from criticism. It is to make its components, causal proposals, boundaries, and empirical implications precise enough that competing explanations can be compared.
Autism is the initial and most developed module. Transdiagnostic expansion is necessary for assessing the specificity of the framework and should follow only where phenotype-specific constructs and predictions can be defined with comparable rigor.
Definitions and scientific claims are identified, dated, and changed through explicit revisions rather than silent rewriting.
Construct validity, independent replication, and critical testing must precede claims of diagnostic, prognostic, or treatment utility.
Research, clinical, and plain-language explanations share one scientific record and cannot diverge in status or meaning.
The Programme is designed so researchers outside the founding group can test, qualify, or refute its predictions.
Staged public release
This website begins as a credible public front door and authoritative terminology reference. The broader canonical release will add structured postulate, prediction, test, study, and evidence registries after their relationships and review process are ready for public use.
Stage one · public foundation
Establishes the programme’s identity, current scientific status, canonical definitions, formal pathway families, explanatory layer, model and publication history, and contact point.
Stage two · canonical research release
Adds searchable linked records, versioned scholarly snapshots and summaries of findings across samples, operationalizations, and models, contribution routes, planned and ongoing studies, and listings of independent research using or critically testing the framework.
Programme workstreams
The workstreams are coordinated parts of the same source of record and should produce reusable scientific objects rather than duplicate prose.
Maintain the specification, definitions, pathway families, nomenclature, boundaries, explanations, and revision history.
Develop construct-faithful measurement models for trait profiles, Cognitive Capacity, and Neurodevelopmental Burden.
Convert claims into prespecified predictions and reusable test specifications, then evaluate them in independent data.
Link results to the exact prediction and operationalization they bear on, with direction, confidence, and limitations visible.
Publish searchable records, frozen scholarly releases, accessible explanations, and listings of research using the PT.
Current invitation
Researchers, clinicians, methodologists, and community members interested in construct development, measurement, replication, or adversarial testing are invited to make contact. Formal contribution and project-listing routes will be added in the broader release.
