About
The Pathogenetic Triad Research Programme is an open scientific initiative established to formalize, critically test, and steward the framework over time.
Founder and Scientific Director
Darko Sarovic
MD · PhD · BA · MSc
Darko Sarovic is a physician-scientist and consultant radiologist with a Master’s degree in psychology whose research spans neurodevelopment, autism, neurophysiology, and social interaction.
He introduced the general Pathogenetic Triad framework in 2019 and its autism-specific formulation in 2021. He founded the Research Programme to convert the framework into an explicit, versioned, and independently testable scientific system.
As Founder and Scientific Director, he is responsible for scientific direction and stewardship of the canonical records. Individual studies may have separate principal investigators, teams, institutions, and governance.
Governance
Scientific leadership without sole ownership of the evidence.
The founder’s role establishes responsibility for the framework and its revision history. Evidence appraisal, replication, and criticism must remain open to independent researchers and appropriately constituted clinical, methods, and community input.
Named collaborators, advisers, study sites, and organizations will be added after their roles and wording are agreed.
